The Joshua Hibbard Experience

Tattoos with Precision, Longevity, & Heart

When you work with me, I will take the time to get to know you, understand your motivations, and make sure you are getting a piece that goes above and beyond your expectations. While beauty guides my hand throughout the process, I want my tattoos to go beyond the visual. My goal is to provide you with a tattoo aligned with your vision, story, and motivation. And if I believe I can take your ideas to the next level, I will always provide my input to ensure you are getting the very best version of your tattoo idea. I am always mindful of pain management and your well-being. You will feel valued and understood throughout the process. And you will walk away with a piece of art that you love that looks like it’s part of your body (not like a sticker or stamp placed on top). My tattoos are crafted to last, so you’ll wear yours with pride for life.

My Philosophy

Understanding & Authenticity in Every Needle Stroke

My approach is rooted in openness and a desire to see and understand each individual as they are. I believe in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, refraining from judgment, and embracing the uniqueness of every story. Whether we share the same beliefs or come from totally different worlds, my goal is to listen with the intent to understand and honor.

In a world often divided by differences, I hope to foster more understanding and compassion. I believe that if we approach each other with empathy and genuine curiosity, we can bridge gaps and foster connections that go beyond the surface.

This worldview recognizes we are interconnected. Similarly, the impact of a tattoo extends beyond the individual. When I ink a design, I’m conscious of the ripple effect it has—the stories it tells, the conversations it sparks, and the legacy it leaves.

My Experience On
The TV Show Ink Master

People often ask about my experience on Ink Master. I was featured in seasons 3 and 5. While it was high-pressure, my goal was to just focus on crafting client designs that resonated with depth, creativity, and a keen understanding of the human body as a canvas. My work consistently garnered praise from the judges and audience and I learned and gained so much from the experience. I am so grateful for the chance to have been a part of it and for all the interesting clients and connections it has brought it my life.
